LASHES / 2001

is a large format photographic image of a plastic box containing heavily used artificial eyelashes. The photograph was taken in 2002, in the beginning of Frederik Buschs studies at HfG/ZKM Karlsruhe. Before studying at ZKM, Frederik Busch studied performing arts at UdK Berlin and worked as actor. The image marks the beginning of his personal transition from a performing artist into a visual artist.
